this opened with with such a damn tanky group with Awakened Estelle/S.Rutee/S.Veigue/S.Yuri with Vicious in the back and I don't even know who else

they were weak attackers but I couldn't bring their health down at all since the awakenings were all basically defense and HP, even focused memorias on OL boost so Estelle could heal fast augh (and then yeah an onslaught of the rest of those MAs is gonna hurt)

and again of course my starting wildfire misses, otherwise I could've potentially nuked Estelle right away

I've only encountered a couple teams in the top 1000 with several awakenings. Most of the teams aren't so bad, and my only loss this week was to a crash.

man I must be pretty unlucky with all these 5 minimum awakened 100 teams I've been getting lately and it's so frustrating right now nearing the end of the week around the cusp of my rewards tier

Damn, I can't imagine how much farming that took. I still don't have any SSR drops from fire or dark, and I've been running them quite a bit lately

I just cannot get over the short term goal of sacrificing a bunch of SRs to get the story SRs awakened like that, forget the unit AND the Memoria. Yeah, it's cool now, but in a few months the story SRs will still be in the shop and they'll praying for Golds every pull as their Magilou's sits at +2.

supposedly that was like 400 raids, 6 of the Richters were drops, 2 were exchanged

I guess on the Richter end that's not out of the realm, counting all my SSR drops from raids I've had 1 Patty, 1 Alvin, 3 Farah.......... I haven't had any Richter drops though that's the most raids I've done of besides Lindwurm

I want Alvin so bad. My medals have been going towards getting Keele to 100 so Estelle can get 3rd turn MA without a type advantage.

Arena calculating now, will be able to pull on ZelPhie tomorrow with the rewards.

Alvin would be a good fit for me also, but my first priority is level 100 Keele. One more to go.

I think I'll skip Sophie/Zelos. I don't like Sophie much, and Zelos is underwhelming

Or....maybe I just pull Dhaos again? All the ones I've fought in Arena were so Weak though....

With where my ranking is stabilized I will at minimum get enough gems from Arena to pull every other week, so I'm not too worried about saving.

I will regret this if an SSR Magilou or Eleanor banner appears, of course.

I was surprised Magilou was SR to begin with, I thought she was pretty popular?

She is, but they had to spread the pool somehow. Already wild enough that Vesperia has 3 SSRs.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if she showed up later as an alt costume event. Based on her Pixiv tag, Magilou's alternate costumes are wildly popular for whatever reason.

Roughly what is your prestige? I feel like I really should make more effort in arena to get better rewards since I have a team capable of doing well but I always get lazy with arena so I'm at like ~2000 rank and I think 29k prestige

I guess in a few weeks it will kind of fix itself since once everyone gets to SSS rank then everyone will be resetting to the same score rather than being thousands of prestige behind at reset

I've spent some gems getting higher, but not much. The only time I ever really lose with my team is disconnects, and the two times I got wrecked by Ascended SRs with AoE status effects. Have had some close calls, though.

Can't see Prestige because it's tallying, but I'm using this team.

Well I was trying to work out how many points behind you I was. What rank are you? Like the A** or S* or whatever.

I believe I ended the season at 290, and I'm S2*, 5 or 6 wins away from S3*.

Also I've found the Martial Artes grid to be the most effective mix of attack and sustainability for Arena for the easily accessible Substone grids right now.

Ah so you're a solid 14k+ prestige ahead of me then. That's like 110-120 battles.

Figures as I have been lazy as hell about doing arena. Like this week I did 59 battles. Last week 41. I'd guess most people are in the 70-80 range

Those are all the ones I have max adorned. I've just actually been using all the stones I've been getting because I need to make room in storage. I'm oit if attack stones and I'm sad.

What I'm actually proud of is how many I've leveled! Spent a loooooot of time running those effing power up quests. The difference in effectiveness of my grid as well as the freedom to mix and match has been a delight.

Oh wow, yeah I don't think I've ever had the game sitting at 5/5 Arena token for more than half an hour or so.

I can't make a super good grid, other than a decent sword one because I spent a lot of SRs originally on Repede upgrading.

So I'm not gonna bother trying to get a good Arena rank since my grid just isn't good enough.

Wow, that is wierd. Tohma has no adornments. He's also not glowing when I'm actually viewing Memoria, just on the Substone grid.

Whilst I have been farming Rainbow Lens / Fire Raids today, I have more Pascal drops (4) than Rainbow Lens (3)

I've only just looked at Stahn's toolkit. How on earth is he not spoke of higher? He's basically Fire Leon but arguably better.

Because he doesn't look as cool as Leon

16 Softstones and 16 Rainbow Lens will get it to 90/90/90/80 which doesn't seem awful to get (in theory!). After that it's going to be miserable to get further.

I guess at some point I should work on Yuri too since he's going to be boosted for the event.

Stahn is spoken of well, but there's a couple reasons Leon is better regarded. Ability damage is higher, dark element means he's universal use, but the main thing is the MA: garanteed 3 turn MA no matter who you are fighting, with great hit generation for the start of a combo.

Of course Stahn is still fantastic with the good low turn count abilities, burn potential, and high damage MA, just not as universal. This gap will grow more when Curse actually stays to work properly.

Man, you could have had Lailah, Gaius and Arche all fully awakened. Would have had an 8% chance to reset Artes and +20% attack at 20+ hits to Fire Allies.

Like I kind of understand the Gaius and Arche since their stone abilities are good but Lailah's stone ability seems bad. Any reason you fully did her stone rather than awakening the character?

Yeah I didn't mention Presea because her awakening skill sucks. Boosts Axe users when she's the only Axe wielder in game.

Just wanted to focus on Memoria Stones at first. Also I got all those Lailah stones super early back when I though she sucked.

I'm always wary about using my SR Memoria. I probably shouldn't be but it's all just sitting there unused for the most part.

Although I'm thinking of throwing my 3 Genis together since the ability on that Memoria is really useful

Even if the character doesn't seem great, always good to look and see if the passive ability is worth more to you than the Memoria. There are no characters whose passive, Memoria, and viability as a character are shit.
