Yeah I feel like a rematch only makes sense if its Jericho forcing it.

Otherwise trios makes more sense for the next step.

They're obviously setting up for a trios match, I'm just not sure if they're putting it on a random Dynamite or for the PPV.

But even then what's Jericho's leg to stand on here? Cassidy beat him fair and square. He pinned him in the middle of the ring 1-2-3 and had no outside help in doing so.

Like they could have had a nice parallel to Jericho/HHH all those years ago, with after Chioda disarming him, Jericho gets pissed Chioda and shoves him, which allows OC to sneak up with his mousetrap pinning combination and Jericho then can blame Chioda for the loss. Especially if there's a fast count.

I mean he is Chris Jericho. He is one of their biggest draws. Why would Khan turn down Jericho's demand?

Jericho can be very unreasonable and demanding.

And for fans its whether Orange can repeat his massive upset. And the fun of a frustrated Jericho going crazy trying to avenge his embarrassment

And don't get me wrong, Jericho will probably still blame Chioda in some way (I don't think they'd work this whole "Chioda owes Jericho a favor" thing in if it's a one off) but at the very least you'd stay more internally consistent AND you'd protect the stipulation by not having the IC involved at all in the decision.

Also as exciting as Cody/Brodie sounds, I have no earthly idea how you book the finish because I'd rather neither of these guys lose, but I'd hate for a schmoz finish for a TNT championship match.

Its Jericho and Orange Cassidy so I'm going to go with yes.

Orange is in his head but Jericho is still the better wrestler. I bet if you asked people to predict the winner most would pick Jericho as well.

Plus as I edited in you have the fact that it's just a fun match up and fun to watch Jericho freak out as a reason for fans to want it to continue. Or at least that's why I want it to continue.

I think they've handle Keith Lee very well and I think, despite him not being my cup of tea, Karrion Kross has had a pretty good roll out since his debut.

Jimmy Havoc for obvious reasons. But I'm thinking Bea Priestley might just want freed from her contract so she can compete in Britain during all of this. Sadie Gibbs might be something similar.

Apparently there were some rumors about Jeff Cobb to WWE, but then he revealed yesterday that he didn't come back to AEW because of Florida's handling of the Coronavirus. So I gotta assume that rules out WWE as well.

Yeah, Jessi Devin on Twitter talked about how careful everything was and how there were even "mask enforcers" there. It seems like a small step to allow people with connections inside to see how they can handle it.

I don't think there should be audiences either, but I think they're trying to do it the best they can, and they're trying to work on it with the understanding that this isn't going to be under control anytime soon.

Like, my work said we're probably not going to be back in the office until Summer of next year, likely. I think places are trying to make due with the reality that we might not be going back to normal for a very long time.

TheRock tried to argue with me at the start of this about how AEW shouldn't run period even though it was explained, multiple times to him, that they test everyone before each taping for COVID-19, it's outdoors, and it's impossible for it to spread if nobody has it.

You aren't getting a reasonable conversation out of him about this.

The fact is that our country is the fucking shits and it isn't going to unfuck itself of this situation anytime soon, no matter how careful or reckless AEW or WWE is going to be. So AEW is going to do its best to carefully try to test out how to reasonably do crowds safely, which isn't ideal. But it's a company that just finally made some budgetary cuts on talent like the Strong Hearts, Sadie Gibbs, and Bea Priestley entirely because they were paying them during the entire pandemic to not work. So they want to be able to bring in crowds safely now because there's no end in sight for this pandemic, especially in Florida.
