blu 08/04/20 7:44:59 PM #1:	People should just be happy the game is getting released for the Xbox at all. Exclusives exist. Console Exclusive games. Console Exclusive content. Store exclusive book chapters. Country exclusive movies. People werent even expecting Spider-Man playable before were they? Its the same game people thought it was last week but some people get like an extra hour non-core experience. If you cared that much about Spider-Man to be outraged you should have a PS system anyway to play his entire game that was amazing. Given Sony have a exclusive Spider-Man game and a PS5 one coming out this year it's not a surprise that they would want Spider-Man to be exclusive to the PS4 version of Avengers. It sucks for Xbox and PC players but that's just how it is. Also this is free content too. All content updates for this game will be free. I'll probably pick up this game now that I've learned you don't need to play co-op to play any of the content as the games makes up your team of A.I partners if you don't have any. They also said the single player story is 12-30 hours long so that gives me hope. Because most popular heroes will eventually make it onto the Avengers. The X-Men is different because they generally have a mutant requirement (which is why Spider-Man was turned down when he applied). As crazy as it seems, the Fantastic Four (and its rebrands) has a similar thing going and, broadly speaking, it's easier to get on the Fantastic Four than in the X-Men. After all, Spider-Man (who was refused the first time he tried to join) was eventually a Fantastic Four member for a while (although that might have just been when it was called the Future Foundation) The Avengers is pretty much Marvel's only major team with an open roster. Compare that to DC which has the Justice League -- where, again, almost every major hero has either joined or been in an offshoot/branch -- but also has some smaller things like the JSA, as well as a ton of youth teams that you don't really see in Marvel at all. And, of course, DC is notable for having multiple villains teams with absurdly huge rosters. One team basically just left out Lex Luthor* and Joker.
