There IS something you can do. You should bookmark this and send it to people that you know and check it frequently. INTER/EUROPOL has a "trace an object" website where cropped out images of items in child sex exploitation material are posted in order to get information on which country these pieces of clothing or surroundings may be located in order to get more clues on how to take down these perverts. Warning, there is nothing explicit, but it feels... very haunting when you realize what is cropped out of these photos.

It's hollow performative politics. "Stop child trafficking" has become basically a meme on social media.

It's pretty much QAnon distilled down to people who don't know what Qanon is. This includes using a bunch of misleading or straight up false information.

People act like them posting about it is actually doing something. Instead of you know, actually helping groups that try to solve the problem.

QAnon and Pizzagaters seem to like to rile people into a vigilante mood. All they have to do is fling a few words in the right direction and suddenly the crowd forgets things like fact-checking and due process.

Damn, that's really dumb because there are things that we can actually do to help, such as the link I posted. I deleted my facebook a year/year.5 ago and haven't looked back :(
