If it's your first time playing, I would suggest gettingOrdinator - Perks of Skyrim

All it does it gives you a MUCH better Skill Tree in the game to customize your character. Alternate Start is a great mod as well, but not your first time. Your first time you should see the real opening of the game.

Other than that, I would suggest the basic stuff like patches and graphical updates. SkyUI is a must, imo. A Quality Map is another one that everyone should have. Apocalypse Magic will add around 150 more spells as well

Nah, some of the QoL mods are great, and don't detract from the vanilla experience. I especially like the darker nights and lantern lit roads with realistic water.
