Do you think landlords should be allowed to evict tenants now even during a pandemic?

56 y/o Leslie Nelson from Memphis, Tennessee who is recovering from COVID-19 has been EVICTED from her home over medical debt belonging to her mother in law and she won't be the last as thousands of americans will be evicted now that unemployment benefits have been stalled in congress!!

Her life was stacked in haphazard piles on herfront lawn as she was forcibly booted as she still struggled to breathe and could barely rise to her feet and even suffered a seizure as her belongings were being thrown on the lawn from movers

She caught COVID-19 from a friend as officers threaten to arrest her while she was being removed from her home

She is one of the sevearl left blindsided after the state's moratorium home evictions lifted in June and despite Trump's recent talk on not allowing landlords to evict tenants, the document only says to CONSIDER not evicting them.

As cases soared across the US and an end to the pandemic is nowhere in sight, home evictions are the last thing they needed

Nelson BEGGED a probate attorney for a chance to settle the debt from her deceased mother in law's bills but they said no and she has to get out

She said she didn't know about the debt prior to her mother in law's passing whom she was caring for and the house was left to her and her partner

She ahd the documents to prove it and tried to repay the medical debt that lingered but couldn't pay all of it

A Gofundme was created that has geneerated 12,500 out of the 20000 goal so far

Nelson says they didn't even give a warning and just sent movers to throw her stuff on the lawn with police officers..

A friend called her on June 11 stating they had "heatstroke" but it turned out to be COVID-19 and suddenly Nelson fell ill and soon she too got the virus as her health deteoriated over the next 3 days and she's never felt sicker than she's ever felt before.

She couldn't breathe, stand up and was hallucinating.

She was discharged a few weeks ago feeling like she was feeling better..until she saw her property being taken out and then suffered an epilepsy.

Volunteers were seen helping Nelson as a video was shown tellling the officer she has COVID-19 while the officers mention they thought she was "cleared" of the virus but she insists that she still had it and they cannot evict her because she was still active.

At one point it turned chatoic when a process server took an antique rifle she was given by a family member

One person said in the video that collecting debt from a deceased person was more important than putting an elderly person recovering from COVID on the streets..

Nelson says she is one of thousands who will have to go through this in the coming months as government is no longer offering to help and Republicans want them to go back to work

Do you think Landlords should be allowed to evict tenants now?

What a gorgeous gilf. Hopefully she gets the help that she deserves. That is very unfortunate!
