Welcome to RR~B8E! This is a contest made to determine the greatest rivalry --fictional or not-- as decided upon by you, the Board 8-ers!
Rules: 1._Vote for your favorite rivalry(ies). You don't have to vote on both matches, but it'd be cool if you did! 2._Traditional rules apply: No alts, no rallying, no cheating of any kind. 3._Topics will last for exactly 24 hours since the moment of posting. They'll be posted at 2:00 PM EST every day. 4._Have fun! Today's contestants: MATCH 1: PlayStation vs. Xbox (Console War)  When Sony released the original PlayStation back in 1995, it became a huge commercial success, and Nintendo became threatened. The impact of the PlayStation paved way for its successor the Playstation 2, which went on to reign for another 12 living years, becoming the biggest-selling videogame console in history. However, Bill Gatess enterprise, Microsoft, took note about what was happening and decided to enter the competition fearlessly. With Halo being a great hit, the Xbox went on to hit the market with a huge blow. Since the sixth generation of consoles arrived, Sonys PlayStation has always seen a look of rivalry in Microsofts Xboxs eyes, be it with which console has the best graphics, the more power, or the greater selection of games. Meanwhile, Nintendo watches from afar, concentrated, minding its own business -Advokaiser Kim Possible vs. Shego (Kim Possible)  Shego has a powerful rivalry with Kim on the battlefield, which is sometimes kept at a "professional" context, but usually involves a few insults. This rivalry, however, progressed along the series, becoming more and more personal for both fighters. Like Bonnie, Shego talks down to Kim as if she were a child, often referring to her by the diminutive "Kimmie" or nicknames like "Princess" or "Pumpkin", as well as putting down both her appearance and wardrobe. Over time, and despite their rivalry (or possibly because of it), Shego has developed a professional respect which she often shows for Kim as a rival and a fighter, and is less than impressed when she manages to ruin Drakken's scheme. In some instances they share a bond, especially when they are stuck in the same "sitch", usually leading to small and almost friendly conversations. -Wikipedia Johnny vs. Mark (The Room)  Hailed as one of the best bad movies of all times, or downright one of the most terrible films ever made, The Room is Wiseaus modern cult classic as a director, writer, producer and main lead as Johnny, a successful businessman living in San Francisco who will soon be married to Lisa. However, all things change when Lisa seduces Johnnys best friend, Mark. Featuring a cute doggie in a masterful performance, a moving scene that tears us apart and a conversation between Johnny and Mark concerning that Johnny did not hit her, The Room is masterfully woeful filmmaking in all of its glory. ElCochran90 Jackie Chan vs. Bruce Lee (Martial Artists)  Long has been the debate regarding which of these two legendary fighters takes the crown as the greatest martial artist in cinema. Both of them have shown incredible stunts, unmatched by mere mortals, though I gotta admit, maybe Bruce Lee was just a bullet away from settling this debate down.
