Based on my spectating after qualifying early, yes.

When I do this the Fall Guys all look like legit lemmings just mindlessly smashing into things and I struggle to remind myself that there's somehow an intelligent human behind the controls.

Just had my first Fall Ball with the new even teams only rule. 5 v 5. We scored first goal early, then one of our teammates left! it was 4 v 5 the rest of the way and we lost 2-5......

The best strategy I've seen and adopted for Royal Fumble is to just hope you start with the tail then leave the game so that nobody wins because fuck that game.

I never mentioned this because it's not the nicest thing to do. Quitting with the tail removes it from the game, yes. But it still awards a winner; it just does so at random among the players still left.

the rumor I heard was that they try to lump teams with friends together and solo queue all get out together.

It definitely does not award a winner. It claims someone is the winner on the ending screen at random, but they do not receive any of the awards for winning and are also treated like they are eliminated.

This has happened to my friend twice while we were playing.

The emotional rollercoaster the first time it happened to us of "wait they left the game now what?", to "guess we all lose", to "wait I won?", and finally "oh nevermind" was hilarious.

Maybe the first people to load into the stage are put in the front row, and the last people to load in, are put in the back row. So maybe it's a connection thing or a CPU thing.

It might be very coincidental, but my row during Fall Mountains always seems to reflect how well I did in previous race rounds. If I was usually one of the first finishers, Im in the first row for Fall Mountain.

I'm positive that's not it. I had a game where I was first in one race and second in the only other race we did and still was put in the third row.

(My theory was actually the same before that)

Though now that I think of it, I appear often enough in the front in the early stage races (with 40-60 people) that load time may not be it either. I just can't imagine it being a coincidence at this point. Sometimes the back row is only 1 or 2 people, and I'm still the one in the back. There's gotta be something going on there.

I played Royal Fumble for the second time, and got my first win on it. i just stood in the middle, spinning around and watching the paths the crowd ran. Then with 15 seconds left, I jumped off, got right in front of where I expected them to be, grabbed the tail and ran.

I just had a Fall Ball game with 11 players

It wasn't someone leaving either, the previous game literally ended with 11 players alive

i mean, if you let the cheater on your team get through, they are going to beat you in the final game anyway, you have 0% chance of crown. so you aren't even losing anything by taking them out.

Uneven teams are unfortunately still a thing. Finished Fruit Chute with 19 (that was the qualifying number) and then it lead into a game of Fall Ball.

This was brilliant. The show off hackers are obnoxious. I was watching John Wolfe's stream highlights on YouTube yesterday and a speed boost hacker quickstepped to the Fall Mountain finish line only to dawdle around so someone could watch him take the . What a jackass.

Speaking of s yesterday I had the esteemed privilege of earning my seventh with charon watching. I did not crack under the pressure! I doubled up on the trophies too because the robot celebration spawned in my shop last morning woot~

I hit the max level so I slowed down a little bit. Really looking forward to next season, kinda hope they speed it up or add new levels in the meantime.

I kind of know how you feel. I do have 8 or 9 wins, so its at least something, but I do play a lot and I lose a lot in the finals. It is starting to get a little annoying to come in 2nd place to someone in a full robot suit or whatever, but at the end of the day they did better. I would enjoy Fall Mountain more if I wasn't always in the back row.

I almost always get Hex-A-Gone in the last round now, and while I'm not terrible, there's always one person in the end who is still on like the second platform from the top somehow.

I was stuck at 7 for a while but I finally got my 8th today. Still only from Fall Mountain and Hex. Though now that I think about it I havent gotten the other two in a while. Im okay with Royal Fumble not showing up but it would be nice if Jump Showdown appeared more than Fall Mountain does.

Still enjoying the game but I had a real bitch of a time playing yesterday, disconnected a lot.

Also I barely ever see Jump Showdown, I think I've seen it three or four times the entire time I've been playing. I got a lot of Royal Fumbles yesterday and that game can fuck all the way off.

I like Royal Fumble with like 4/5 people. You can figure out what everyone is doing and how they play and stuff.

I think I am souring on Hex A Gone because I keep getting way too many people so its just random and the centralizing mechanic of slowly hopping from tile to tile is super boring.

So my Fall Mountain curse has finally been mysteriously broken. Got a front row and then a second row. On the one where I was second row, I got a bit of a cheap win. I had a flawless run but then of course got to the crown when it was high up. I was so anxious I jumped before the crown had lowered all the way. I thought for sure I fell, but the game said I won! It was funny because the image showed my character holding on to thin air with the crown floating above me. Maybe another latency thing? Either way, I'll take it!
