ninkendo 08/25/20 4:24:05 AM #12:	Nvidia has been getting pretty clever about upscaling, and the industry in general has been going in the direction of rendering fewer pixels and then doing good reconstruction to make them look more detailed. If I was designing a portable/TV hybrid console in 2020 Id put some hardware in the dock or the console to take a 720p image from the native screen and upscale it with DLSS or checkerboarding to a TV resolution without actually rendering any additional pixels. You wouldnt even need to put that much extra horsepower on the current switch to get a decent 1800p/4K image to a TV at this point. If Nintendo made use of it and the other consoles didn't, the performance gap would vanish immediately.
