Where do you think is America's "sexiest accent" comes from?
Vote
The NJ accent was made famous from shows such as Jersey Shore and the Real Housewives of NJ but it came with having the least sexiest accent of the America's FIFTY dialects. The southern twang once again won the hearts of most people calling it a "southern accent with a twist" featuring "strong Rs and plenty of Howdys"... New York and Boston accents round out the top 3 while Alabama came 4th and Chicago ranked 5th While there are differences between North Jersey and South Jersey, both rated low enough to send them at the bottom of the rankings North Jerseyan? Think "cawfee" and dropping the Rs. South Jerseyan? It's more like the Philly accent, but not close enough to bring up Jersey's overall sex appeal Long Islanders however moved up a place after coming bottom of the table last year but still voted unsexy where natives such as the Baldwin brothers, Jerry Seinfeld hail from Miami came 11th for its "sexy rhythm" like Spanish as Minnesota came next and Pittsburgh natives were told to consider themselves lucky to not be lower than 46th that is often considered the ugliest of all accents in America. Despite Long Island's poor performance, overall, New York came 2nd for sexiest for its fast and hypernasal and charming accent https://i.imgur.com/WSvyLTx.jpg https://i.imgur.com/YDGz1K9.jpg What do you think is America's "Sexiest" accent? 1. I only think of there being 5 accents in the US:
-New York -Boston -Southern (Texas and everything east of it) -North Central (Minnesota and all the snow states near it) -Regular (Everyone that isn't those) I can't really judge 'Regular' since it's the typical American voice you hear just about anywhere in media (and probably in real life for most of us). So if I had to pick a favorite from the other 4, I'd go with the north central one. It probably helps that the people who speak are typically more likable to me. --- Bells, bells, bells! ...
