The way it kicks in is so unpredictable, which is part of the fun if you know what being high is like but for a beginner it's like jumping into a pitch black chasm

My bf refuses to smoke. We got him some gummies, he started with 10mg and worked up from there. 20-30 works well for him. There's no reason newbies can't go with edibles.

Its all about correct dosage

Whenever I take more than 15mg (and the most I've done is 20mg lol), it starts to get hard to breathe? It feels like if my nose is turning super dry and clogging up. Is that normal? Is there something I can do to alleviate that feeling? :(

It usually scares me enough to give me a mini panic attack as I start to think that I won't be able to breathe, but then I'll just fall asleep...

Yall explain this shit to me. So I took a edible tootsie roll. My sister who smokes and all that said the tootsie roll had her high for about two hours. I took the same tootsie roll with my wife. Nothing. Wasnt high. Wasnt dizzy. Ive never smoked and it changed nothing. Supposedly this tootsie roll had 100mg.

So I try again. This time I do a gummy with my wife. Wait a hour and nothing. Pop another gummy and nothing. I was given a lollipop and I take it. Go for a walk come back. Maybe two hours pass and I finally get high. Im laughing hard as shit like Joker. Go to sleep and all that. The next day I wake up and my wife cant move out of the bed. She is fucking stoned literally cant even speak.

So am I just immune to edibles? Seems like nothing really happens besides the one time where at that point I had 300 mg (between the gummy and lollipop)

Take less, tbh.

The dry mouth and all that is normal. Even though youre not smoking, the edibles still do that.

Some people just have naturally higher tolerances to different drugs.

I know people that can take half of a Xanax bar and pass out for like 2 days. I can eat a damn handful of them and play Call of Duty.

I'm guessing you're much larger physically than your wife?

I've always told people to start with a glass pipe (water ir dry, your choice). Give them one hit, make them wait 10-15 minutes before they decide if they want another.

I know people who try to do the "Go big or go home" initiation with a gravity bong.. that's one of the worst ways

Fat content is what matters. 160 is fairly skinny for a 5'9" guy, your metabolism is processing everything much faster. 125 is "big" for 5'0 (it's not, comparatively speaking, but y'know) means all that shit is binding to her fat cells and being processed very slowly.

I'd guess one of two things;
1) You've never been high and went in expecting it to be similar to being drunk, when it's nowhere close. Doesn't matter how much you take/smoke, you're never going to feel "fucked up".

2) You're one of the rare few people who does not possess the "allergy" that causes you to get high. You see this a lot with first time users, you need to develop the ability to get high, if you will. Your body doesn't recognize it as a "threat".

100mg is more than enough to get me high for 2-3 hours, and I've been smoking daily for 19 years now.
