I think everyone knows Ted Bundy, there's even a Jane's Addiction song referencing him killing people in salt Lake City

I thought Dahmer killed way more people than 4

Same, google says 17. So now I'm questioning the rest of this. I'm surprised some of the numbers are low, but maybe it's how they are categorized for whatever reason.

I was going to say that maybe he was only found guilty of X of them, but that doesn't appear to be the case. So yeah, that seems like a screw up

Haven't heard of the Corona guy. I was thinking for a second that the killer from my state might be the killer that lived a few miles from me. The Golden State Killer/Original Night Stalker. I think he was more a rapist then a killer though.

*looks*

Yeah. He killed a bunch of people(13+) but raped an insane amount of women(50+). What a piece of shit. So creepy to think he lived within like 5 miles of me or whatever.

I spent part of my youth growing up in Waikiki so Ive definitely heard of the Honolulu Strangler. Shame they never got him.

As for BC where I was born, its easily Willy Pickton, the Pig Farm Killer. Killed 49 women, shits fucked.

I just couldn't remember if it was Dahmer or Gein.
Gein wasnt really a serial killer. He only killed two people. He was a bodysnatcher more than anything. What he did was fucked but doesnt really fit a serial killer profile.

I've never heard of the Honolulu Strangler. The only notorious killer I've heard of was Byran Uesugi, but he did a one-time shooting that killed 7 people, so he wouldn't be considered a serial killer. Odd fact...He used to do the maintenance on our Xerox machine in the office D:

I mean that was before I worked at the AG's office, but that's what one of my co-workers told me :<

Damn, West Virginia, Nebraska, and Oklahoma got some pretty eerie ones. Oklahoma over here being terrorized by a creepy old granny.

Also I love how fitting it is that Maryland's most prolific killer is an actual boomer from Left 4 Dead.

I think it's weird that some of these guys got credit for unconfirmed kills but others didn't. H.H. Holmes is believed to have killed over 200 people and should be listed over Gacy for Illinois.

Yeah, after looking it over it doesn't seem like it's 100% true. That's fine, still interesting, imo.

I looked him up. My family only was here in part of the 80s and then we came back 3 years ago. Looks like he was active in the 70s. I can ask them tomorrow about it but I bet they won't know him.

Have a hard time believing the two hundred plus ones. They glorify their crimes to be infamous. Especially when one only had 14 on record and the other 6. Seems awfully fishy.

I don't think that's CT's most active serial killer... although I guess the state's biggest killer was a mix of serial and spree, since he'd murdered 4 people prior to killing over a hundred via arson... although there's some contention he lit the blaze.

At any rate, the guy they picked for CT isn't particularly famous and all of his crimes occurred over just the span of a year or so.
