The character himself doesn't have any "unique" gameplay gimmicks, his thing is learning skills from his other party members and retrofitting them in his own methods. A jack-of-all-trades. I even made it so that his girlfriend (one of the party members) is actually a master at using weaponry due to being part of the military guard, and she taught him battle skills. Other than that, Shadow Link from AoL is the closest thing I can think of. It's technically a reflection of Link. Breath of Fire 4 has two endings.
