I've seen that before. Watching it again, I think at least part of it is his presentation. He doesn't pronounce things very clearly or with the right cadence. It's not really all that crazily written. (Well, aside from being partially nonsense.)

Here at Rockwell Automations world headquarters, research has been proceeding to develop a line of automation products that establishes new standards for quality, technological leadership, and operating excellence. With customer success as our primary focus, work has been proceeding on the crudely conceived idea of an instrument that would not only provide inverse reactive current, for use in unilateral phase detractors, but would also be capable of automatically synchronizing cardinal grammeters. Such an instrument comprised of Dodge gears and bearings, Reliance Electric motors, Allen-Bradley controls, and all monitored by Rockwell Software is Rockwell Automations "Retro Encabulator".

Now, basically the only new principle involved is that instead of power being generated by the relative motion of conductors and fluxes, its produced by the modial interaction of magneto-reluctance and capacitive diractance. The original machine had a base plate of prefabulated amulite, surmounted by a malleable logarithmic casing in such a way that the two spurving bearings were in a direct line with the panametric fan.

The lineup consisted simply of six hydrocoptic marzelvanes, so fitted to the ambifacient lunar waneshaft that sidefumbling was effectively prevented. The main winding was of the normal lotus o-deltoid type placed in panendermic semiboloid slots of the stator, every seventh conductor being connected by a non-reversible tremie pipe to the differential girdlespring on the up end of the grammeters. Moreover, whenever fluorescence score motion is required, it may also be employed in conjunction with a drawn reciprocation dingle arm to reduce sinusoidal depleneration.

The Retro Encabulator has now reached a high level of development, and its being successfully used in the operation of milford trenions. Its available soon; wherever Rockwell Automation products are sold.

I think this one is presented a little better (it sounds more like he believes what he's saying, and less like he's just reading words for a camera):

I can't even tell if it was a serious video or just a load of gibberish for a joke. :P

Rockwell Automation "manufactured" the renamed Retro-Encabulator in another video spoof in c. 1997

yeah, I couldn't remember at first if it was real but sounded phony or phony but sounded real. it's the second one. most of the phrases have a "just outside my knowledge-range" feel to them. "magneto reluctance", "panametric fan", "sinusoidal depleneration", "cardinal grammeters".

some phonier sounding ones are "prefabulated amulite", "logarithmic casing", and "sidefumbling".

Gotta be fake. If you sprinkled in a few quantums or other sci-fi words that video wouldn't sound out of place in a bad star trek episode.
