the one where you show up to a class after skipping weeks of it, and not knowing wtf they're teaching, but you still expect to somehow pass

I've been out of school for almost 10 years, and I still get these

I still have dreams I didn't graduate high school and wake up and realize I have my diploma to prove it so fuck you dream!

I have a similar dream at least every few months where I remember I forgot to drop a class and now I have to go take the final.

I mentioned it to my Dad and he still has similar dreams 30+ years after collage.

My most stressful dreams are where I show up to work like 10 hours late and have to deliver the mail in the dark.

so im tryna fall asleep, something doesnt feel right. so a chill crawls up my skin, tingling down my limbs. theres a shadow in the night, my god, it gave me such a fright. i see him standing right outside.
his face is red, his eyes are white.
i wonder...
what is it that he wants from me? maybe he just feels lonely...what is it that he has in mind? why has he come here at this time?
its a monster, they take me away from my safe space into the night.

then i wake up in a magic cave, heres me trying to be brave...
but then instead of eating me, he offers me a blueberry.

the monster walks me to a pot, seems like time is all i got. he puts my head inside, im not ready to die.
instead of burning up alive, i see my room, flames rising high.
he wasnt trying to hurt me, was only trying to save me...
