Microsoft is offering Smart Delivery for next-gen, so I can purchase a game for my One X and know I'll have the upgraded version when I decided to get the Series X. That's a massive consumer-friendly move.

Microsoft actually lets you play games that you purchased in the past! Nintendo, and Sony to an extent, don't give a shit if you bought that game before, they want more money. Another bonus for the consumer.

Microsoft actually supported physical media this gen by allowing me to take full advantage of my LG B7 by including a 4K UHD drive! Sorry, but streaming in pseudo-4K doesn't cut it for those of us with functioning eyes and ears. How the hell did Sony drop the ball on that one?

Game Pass is widely acknowledged across the industry as an absolutely tremendous deal for consumers, and a major positive for Microsoft. If you don't like games, that's not a Microsoft problem.

Your only valid complaint is microtransactions. And I agree! I hate them. But have you had your head in the sand for the past 8 years? Every instance I can think of where a game released with heavily monetized nonsense, the backlash was vicious, and resulted in developers changing their approach (Forza 7, Middle-Earth Shadow of War, EA and the Battlefront 2 onslaught, and I can keep going), and you certainly can't point the finger at Microsoft for all of them... oh wait, you are.

Stop with that shit.

Why are people so determined for Microsoft to have another 2013 launch lol

Clearly they've been learning and clearly they've been concentrating on what matters, which is the games and the means of accessing them like Game Pass

Meanwhile Sony is over here telling me about the wonders of an SDD and how much fun I'll have with rumble triggers and blowing into my controller with the non-replacable batteries
