27 y/o Matthew David Hughes was the man arrested in April for breaking into Eminem's MANSION outside Detroit and STOOD over the rapper's bed in his SLEEP and threatened to KILL HIM!!

He faces first degree home invasion and malicious destruction of property as Officer Adam Hackstock testified that Marshall Mathers awoke to find someone standing over his bed..

He said "When Mr. Mathers asked why he was there, he was told he was there to kill him"

The officer then said Eminem told him he escorted the man out of the house through the TV area, game room and basketball court to an exit and when he arrived on scene, he found Hughes WRESTLTING with a security guard outside the mansion

One of the home's windows was smashed out with a brick as footage showed Hughes was on the premises for quite some time before climbing into the window

Hughes was reportedly homeless and has a court appointed attorney and now there is probable cause to move forward with a trial on Sept. 28
