The director got the motivation to make this movie when she saw a girl's dance team doing a lot of sensual dance moves and wondered if these girls even knew what they were getting themselves into. Hell in the trailer you can clearly see these girls comparing instagram numbers with one another. Honestly the concern for this movie is overblown, but I don't blame them considering how bad of a marketing Netflix did with this movie with its poster and movie description.
