I feel like a giant piece of shit for making this topic, but in some ways this has actually been the best year of my life.

Finished my Masters Program and got my MS in Political Science, was able to leave my old job at Panera Bread and leave Indiana to move back out west, and even have a cool political job.

I'm pretty happy >_>

Yeah it has. COVID meant I've been working from home since March. My daughter was born last November so I have spent the year working from home and watching her grow up with all of the extra time. It has been great.

2020 is going great for me. My job is largely unaffected, however our office shut down and we became permanently work from home, so I was able to move out into a rural area into a brand new apartment building, all while paying the exact same amount of rent. No more being tied to an office building close to the city!

After being laid off the govt paid me my normal salary to go on vacation for three months

It's been epic. I'm in the best shape of my life. Bought a house due to record low interest rates in my favorite town

Don't ever feel like you have to adopt bad energy from the world, we all deserve to be a little self centered and take joy in the good. That's where Im at too. I feel good about some my efforts this summer but nothing really happened for me. I got to spend a lot time with some my favorite people. But that was a given. Plus me and my best friend only hing out like 5 times since March, when we usually chilled multiple times a week.

We can't really canvass so we just do a lot of phone banking from home. It's pretty nice.

I really hope work from home becomes more normal as a result of this virus, like seriously so much work doesn't need to be done in the office.

Been work from home since March but the first three months of 2020 were amazing. Decided not to buy a house and wait til a dip in prices that never came my girlfriend went back to Romania and we tried four months of long distance before breaking up still at home with the parents. Barely have hung out with anyone I dont live with and used to go to shows every week which I havent of course.

Financially yes I've made more money this year than I ever have so far. Nice raise and year long over time. Thankfully covid hasn't impacted me work wise but that's the only thing going for me this year.

Mine's going great. The last 6 or so years of my life have improved significantly compared to most of my 20s.

Got a girl (first one), new job, more money than I have ever had before, and future plans to move out of the state. Life is pretty good so far except that the new job is not what I thought it would be and I don't really like it. Oh well. At least it pays. Been saving up to open my own business and I am making good progress.

My daughter was born last april so I got to watch my 2nd kid grow over the last year whoich wouldnt have been possible without my back being messed up because my trade made me work 6 12 hour days a week to keep everyone happy.

Ive had significantly worse years, notably 2013. Nothing short of losing all my limbs could top how horrible that year was.

2020 is pretty average, people are still as stupid as expected so the way COVID has gone has (and this will sound bad but whatever) gone exactly the way I expected it to.
