What primary posting? Like during the debates? That Bernie is not an articulate voice behind his policies? I still believe that, despite the fact that I like him better than Biden! In fact, I also talked about how Biden also came up very short!

I supported Warren primarily in the primaries, and that's been pretty clear. No flip flopping here.

I also am of the opinion that the primaries don't matter too much, practically, because when you look at the overarching goals they tend to be pretty similar amongst the candidates, and you can expect their influence to be bottlenecked by the other 2/3s of government.

Overall, my politics tends to stray pretty heavy left, and if you spent any time thinking and observing critcally, that would be pretty obvious.

But as it turns out, the speech addressed many concerns for hispanic populations, including family separation at the border. I'm not sure if addressing an explosive story that broke that exact day (I believe) is the best idea. Especially for something as serious as this. If one detail changes, and you go hard on it, the opposition will have plenty of ammo to pretend like it's fake news, especially in this climate.

I'm not sure that Biden addressing a story that's breaking that same day is a reasonable expectation.

I get your point, I just really disagree. Especially given that the optics now is that he played Despacito from his phone which is cringe at the best of times.
Maybe my timing is off, maybe he didn't have time to even be aware of the story. But there's been radio silence on this. By comparison, congresspeople on the left like Bernie and AOC have already called for investigations.
And when Biden was part of the administration that built the cages, you'd think he'd be keen on looking strong and swift on this issue

Y'know what I thought that was kind of adorable. It felt like one of his grandkids brought their hispanic boy/girlfriend to Christmas and he just wants to show he thinks their part of the family, but he doesn't have the slightest idea how since he's like a 900 year old man. Its a "he's a stupid old man" moment but feels like a more wholesome one.
