So basically every PS5 game for this and next year is also releasing on PS4 or PC lol.

It's hilarious because people were tearing Xbox to shreds over this. Turns out both are just worth buying if you want to play better versions of crossgen games.

Well not God of War 5.

I feel like that collection is mostly targeted at Xbox players considering crossing over. It's basically a last gen greatest hits of titles, many of which you couldn't get on Xbox. If I had an Xbox last-gen and not a PlayStation, it would actually be a pretty compelling offering in terms of beefing up my game options at launch.

It's not a bad collection of games or anything -- just not as interesting for veteran subscribers. Shame it's being used to prop up the weak launch lineup, though, which feels more calculating than generous.

Welp, gg to the all-digital PS5 but I guess Sony had $500 planned all along and was hoping that Xbox would go higher

I'm so sure FF16 will be on Xbox eventually lol, let's just see if it's not a repeat of 15 first; the setting wasn't necessarily the problem in that game so I'm not too impressed by this return to a medieval period

Yeah it's a timed exclusive. So a year. But the game apparently is still a while away on top of that lol

I still haven't even played XV and am gonna play that soon so I'm fine with waiting. That game seemed to be better if you waited.

I got the royal, super deluxe edition of FFXV with everything in it for $30 and I don't regret it at that price.

This $70 game shit seems to be the norm for Sony I'm afraid though, I can't imagine forking over $570 plus tax just to play cross-platform games

There's literally like a dozen fan games free with purchase. Haven't played all of them but monster hunter, Bloodbourne and persona are easily 200 hours of content to dig into on their own.

Only PS2 games that will work will be the PS2 digital releases on PS4. They should work no problem.
