Yes No Should gritty the bull be put down for killing him? - Results (22 votes) Yes 4.55% (1 vote) 1 No 95.45% (21 votes) 21 A horrific sight occurred at the Palo Pinto County Livestock Association's PRCA Pro Rodeo where a 20 y/o member of Oklahoma State's University Rodeo Team was killed after he was thrown off a BULL and was STOMPED repeatedly on his FACE!! 20 y/o Rowdy Swanson was riding the bull named "Gritty" who is owned by Rafter G Rodeo when he sustained fatal injuries... He was tossed from the bull soon after leaving the chute and one person who recorded it said the bull's rear leg stomped on his head immediately and REPEATEDLY!! Adult bulls weigh 2400lbs as one rider ran out of the gates to pick swanson up to get him out. He fell down immediately when out of the area and rushed to hospital where he died. Coach Cody Hollingsworth broke the news to his team on the death and said he was a big part of their rodeo family and was devastated over the loss Swanson was studying ANIMAL SCIENCE at the University in Stillwater and had a permit while trying to obtain a PRCA membership His girlfriend shared pictures of them together remembering him who said "I keep trying to make sense of it but it just doesn't. How is this even a poll? If you want to, you know, not die, it helps not doing stupid activities like rodeo/bull fighting/hugging polar bears/kissing cobra's.
