Do you think Liberals in America can't get their s*** together unlike Liberals up north?

Liberals in America just don't understand the game in american politics. They don't see that it's a 2 party system and it will always be that way and they abstain from voting or vote 3rd party anyway giving a victory to the Republicans and then whine about it after.

Liberals in Canada understand the political game very well. There's basically 3 left or centre-left parties vs 1 centre right-wing party and with a lesser extent now a far right-wing party. The right-wing parties banded together cause they can't win as a split but even that's failed for them.

Liberals in America see the Democrats as just another conservative party which may be true but they have done some leftist things such as the ACA and who was it that nominated Ruth Bader Ginsburg? the most progressive supreme court nominee of all time?

But that doesn't seem to matter despite the efforts they made in breaking into the party and progressives were doing just that by nominating AOC and others. They have to start from the ground up to get more of those people into the party so that they aren't just a "small" part and have a real voice in it..

In Canada, the left is split into 3 groups but they still manage to win more elections than the right because they have STRATEGIC VOTING...meaning they vote for the most leftist candidate leading in that district so that the conservative doesn't win and it's working.

Justin Trudeau doesn't have a majority and now he has to work with other left parties to get something done by adding some things they demand to the budget.

So as you can see, american liberals just don't see the big picture whereas canadian liberals do and make way smarter decisions in their voting.

The leftists here in Canada might not be looting and causing violence but they are just as sheep as the American leftists. I mean they voted in the corrupt wanna be dictator a second time here.. Trudeau is a solid candidate for worst PM in Canadian history, yet the leftists in the east think he's great.. but when they are asked any questions they either have no answers or they just flat out have no idea what's going on in Canada. Uh, doesn't Canada also have a completely different voting system? Other than that, the same could be said for conservatives in America. The two-party system kinda limits both leftism and rightism (because technically the left and right aren't really representative of either ideology --

The main reason California is hurting badly right now is that its run by one party. Conservative votes dont mean anything here. This state is crashing and literally burning.

Not just Cali the entire West Coast. I've lived in WA my entire life and I'm finally jumping ship once my work contract is up. Just can't take it anymore. It's become dystopian.

And on the East side, CT is fruity loops. CT has a terrible economy despite being located in an advantageous region where its neighbors are prosperous and its dipshit governor, rather than make that a priority, decided to focus on crap like banning plastic bags. And generally its government has been promoting leftist, virtue-signalling agendas rather than working on any of its numerous problems. The state is literally crumbling (for several years in a row, we had the worst roads in the nation and third-worst bridges) and our so-called leaders in Hartford are playing the violin.

If Lamont doesn't get his phase 3 re-opening back on track, I might be jumping ship as well instead of sticking around to listen the band play as the ship sinks.
