Self-defense. The only person who should have been in Kenosha that day was Kyle because he works there and he was cleaning up BLM graffiti early that day. The other 3 were looking to cause trouble.

Also, 17 is the legal age for open carry of a long gun in WI. "

Minor note I'd make on your description is that we can't tell if the person who put oyt the dumpster fire was Rittenhouse, but we do have footage of him running around there with a fire extinguisher. So, it stands to reason that he was participating in some fire fighting.

The situation in a vacuum i believe to be self defense. My take on it is scour his social media if he came down there to help or kill. If it was too kill then it is murder.

This is true. A mod somewhat recently came out and said on another board--and this is a direct quote:

"Trolling is not always intentional. The way it's perceived to the general userbase can determine whether something is considered trolling, or not. "But it's just my opinion" is therefore never really a good defense."

This means that even if you are stating a fact and are participating faithfully in a discussion, you can still be hit by a trolling moderation if the 'general userbase' perceives you to be a troll.

I dont know about that. It reads to me more like sharing things that will upset the general user base can be moderated for trolling, regardless of whether or not it is a genuine opinion or intent.

But that suggests a fundamental misunderstanding of trolling, because trolling is posting antagonistic, caustic things explicitly to cause anger or upset for someone.

You can't unintentionally troll someone, just because they get upset at something you said.

So fake it like me saying I best friend with Mike Tyson.

This. I think the situation was self-defense in a vacuum, but if he only went there across multiple state lines in the first place with the intent to kill someone, that sure as hell isn't self-defense. All of his social media accounts need to be closely examined for any sign of intent.

Also, if he carried the firearm across state lines (I had heard he might have acquired it after the traveling so I'm not totally sure) then that also makes it not self-defense. That shows intent to kill.

Kyle Rittenhouse was an immigrant who took a job from native Wisconsins.

When native Wisconsins were expressing their protected freedom to protest, this immigrant passed state lines, illegally obtained a gun, and shot three members of that proud state, killing two.

He then ran back to where he came from under the protection of his immigrant mother in an attempt to escape the law.
