Lowest is Bernadetta @ 21. Dont need her much cuz I use Ashe and Anna with Mercedes as a backup sniper (she's actually my best character. A in faith and reason and B+ Archery)

Next time do Wyvern Lord Annette, that's the distinguished gentlemen's Annette.

Also her most statistically damaging. Lightning Axe and Bolt Axe's just do too much damage.

It's mostly whether you value offensive performance over double Warp.

Dark Knight is going offensively out perform Gremory as the addition movement range means she is going to to see combat more often and Canto will allow her to attack enemies and retreat allowing her to attack enemies that would otherwise leave her vulnerable as a Gremory. Dark Knight's innate Dark Tomefaire also means she hits harder as a Dark Knight than a Gremory on player phase, despite Gremory's higher magic modifier.

On the flip side, Gremory has double warp and that is often reason enough. It is also an easier class to get into. Since you aren't brute forcing through a lance bane.

As an addendum, if you have the DLC Dark Flier Lysithia is also a very solid option. It doesn't have either Dark Knight's offense, or Gremory's utility, but flying magic nuke is still extraordinarily useful. There is only one flying magic battalion in the game though so it can be limiting.

If you're using anyone other than Byleth and Dimitri, and maybe some physic healers to heal them from a distance if necessary, you're doing it wrong.

Fire Emblem has become so casualized that lowmanning if not outright soloing is actually more efficient than playing normally since units in the post-Elibe games are so fucking OP. Dimitri being the most OP in TH. Reclass him to Wyvern Lord, give him Javelins/Hand Axes, and watch him destroy everything.

If he had an infinite use 1-2 range weapon, he'd even beat out Ryoma. And Ryoma makes R/Gr/B/Y Mewtwo jealous in terms of being an absolutely overpowered instant win button.
