I have 3 ASUS VG245H monitors. My PC has one HDMI, one DVI, one displayport. The monitors only support HDMI/VGA. So i have them connected to a HDMI USB thingy.

Would it make a difference if i just get DP/DVI to HDMI cables and plug the monitors in that way? I am not an expert in this field but I think this would be the better option. The usb to hdmi thing is using software to port it over, a dp/dvi to hdmi adapter is converting it directly. --- p226 ... Copied to Clipboard!

ah ok. I can get 75Hz refresh rate on the monitor that is connected directly to the PC, would that enable the other monitors to use it too?
