WHY WE WALK We walk because although we have made progress in the fight against HIV/AIDS, our work is far from done. Now, in the fourth decade of the HIV epidemic, 7,185 people are living with HIV in Wisconsin with an additional 1,300 currently unaware of their status. We walk to ensure access to quality health care and social services for all patients - ensuring long, healthy lives regardless of their ability to pay. Because of you and your dedicated support, people with HIV live longer in Wisconsin than anywhere else in America. Yes, we have our challenges.
