Nope! Just cause you buy the game doesn't mean you agree with her.
People who are doing that are being ridiculous

JK Rowling will definitely benefit from the sale of the game, even if she had no direct involvement. That said she is worth $670 million dollars, whatever royalties she makes doesn't make will be completely immaterial to her continued existence. She could never make another cent for the rest of her life and her standard of living will not change.

The game itself is the product of hundreds of people's hard work though and knowing the industry, if a AAA game based on an S-tier media property underperforms, it will probably mean people will lose their jobs.

And there are some franchises that just become bigger than their author. Regardless of Rowling's (terrible) beliefs, Harry Potter transcends her in cultural impact and reach. It means a lot to a lot of people and trying to throw it all away because Rowling is shit, isn't fair.

So no, I don't think it is morally wrong. I can absolutely understand why someone would choose not to buy it, but the idea that the people buying the game are endorsing Rowling's transphobia is just disingenuous.

I personally will not be getting the game, but that's because I never got into Harry Potter in the first place.

Dozens of lifetimes. Seriously. Money is not a motivator for her, nor is it a virtue to boycott something that effects hundreds of people for the sole purpose of depriving one person you despise of something they dont need.
