Human Revolution is one of my favorite games, and I was really looking forward to Mankind Divided because of some negative impressions

and now that this gen is almost over, I was kinda curious about how you all might feel about it

I absolutely loved Human Revolution but I quit Mankind Divided after a few hours or so on two different attempts to play it.

I played HR through a few times, MD was one and done.

HR is one of my most favorite games of all time, so it would have been a hard act to follow in any case. but MD exacerbated that by ending at an odd and anti-climactic point and by not really having any likeable side characters. and by only having one boss fight the entire game.

the gameplay in MD was great though, a bit more refined and expanded over HR.

It's still decent if you can get it for cheap. Just keep your expectations in check for the story

From a gameplay perspective, MD is better than HR. The hubs are more open, there's a little more opportunity to play like the original games, stealth was a little more challenging.

From a story perspective it's pretty terrible.

Not like either one is worthwhile compared to the original two games though :|

Just whatever you do stay the fuck away from The Fall that game was a fucking trip LOL

Invisible War was so bad yet I beat it a few times and had a lot of fun.

Weird things like the toxin knife were so much fun.

In invisible war you were a god. Like super fast baton strikes with emp damage and could also turn robots friendly.

Assassin pistol for head shots and rocket launcher that could blow up locks and remote camera that can emp explode.

What were they thinking? Silent run was a passive as well....

The writing in Invisible War was leagues ahead of MD or HR, though the gameplay did suffer a little bit >_>. Game was fun though.

human revolution is one of the maybe 10 rpgs i can tolerate. mankind divided bored me within a coupla hours. didnt even finish it

It's a shooter with RPG elements (barely has them). The first game is the only RPG in the series.

The game barely has meaningful ability points in it, especially in its original iteration where you had to resolve every boss fight through combat.
