so like when i'm watching something. anything. a movie, a show, even a fuckin documentary, i'll completely space out. i just zone out and listen and watch. somehow i still absorb all the information alright, but no matter what when i become conscious of my zoning out, i notice my face is in a weird, completely different position from my default. like, without even realizing, my face will just sort of act out the emotions i'm seeing on the screen.
like if a character is shocked my jaw could be hanging. or my hands could be over my mouth. or if a character is having a heart to heart it's almost like i'm looking in their eyes and furrowing my brows in the appropriate way to convey whatever emotion fits it's been pointed out to me that i do this for video games and movies. i just now kinda realized and accepted that i do it for shows too. i find it weird. it's weird to be watching a show for a few minutes and then find my face in a totally different shape. idk, im most likely poorly conveying what i mean. super unsober atm. but yea. if anyone a you guys get what im saying can you let me know if you do it? ive never noticed others doing it ...
