Got to act III about like the start of August and I think the prospect of having another new zone to unveil the map in and explore and do the meaninless quests just killed my drive to see it through. So I let it sit for a month or two and over the past week have just been playing a little, doing the map thingy and quest thingy. And today I made it to the point where I could actually finish it. The final story mission against the Khan was... weird. Fight against him was good, but I just wasn't expecting the final battle mission to take about 1/5 of the time that the mission that ended act 2 took. My emotion was mostly confusion that it was over that quick. However, the epiloque mission/end of the game was kind of amazing. I guess I was expecting something of that nature to happen, but the execution, the visuals, the music, the story telling. It was all exceptional. I think it very much encapsulates my take away from the game, which is largely that it enjoys dabbling in the mundane, but even when it does, it attempts to, and largely succeeds in elevating it beyond your typical experience of comparable nature.

And also in general it just affirms to myself that I just don't like open world games and it has to be something above the norm to even hold my attention. And even then, I had to take a long break from it once or twice.
