Yes it shows they are smart enough to watch Big Bang Theory where Sheldon explains and references it more than once. High IQ people watch Big Bang.

pretty much everyone knows about it, and I'm pretty sure it was mentioned in highschool chemistry and/or physics, so if you don't at least know about it you're probably not smart jmhi

It's not impossible for an intelligent person to have come from an isolated enough way of life to not know some commonly known things.

I find that how people express themselves is a good indicator of intelligence. There's concision, clarity, no glaring errors logical cohesion. And it scales to the other end, too, with less intelligent people having incomplete concepts that they explain poorly.

I think it's because there's less variation to stupidity that you see a lot of the same patterns. You'll see it on this board, too: How many times have you seen someone confuse semantics for a point, in an argument that isn't about semantics?
