Pendulum Summoning is amazing. It literally supports every other summon method.

my main beef with links were all the mechanics that got nixed in the latest rules, so Im not so salty any more >_>

There's not any explicitly named blue eyes XYZ ones I'm aware of but there's plenty of analogous ones.

I know one's called Pendulum summoning but not sure what the other is or what either do.

The worst thing about XYZ summoning is that it is literally pronounced "ex-seez summoning".

Idk about Pendulums since I don't see really see it ever but links are easy lol. It follows the same rules as synchro/XYZs but the math with how many monsters/types are needed are on the card

Links, I like that positioning finally matters in Yugioh, but them having gimped all other extra deck summoning conditions for it was stupid (though I think that part got rolled back).

I guess that's because it's Xyz, not XYZ. Still was pretty confusing at first tho lol

XYZ summoning is not even confusing one bit, but what can be confusing is the stupid chain ruling and how it can miss the "timing" or how monster effects in cards now are barely about the actual effect and more of the "ruling" and "timing" that it becomes a thesis paper to read. It would be alot easier for Yugioh to follow the "format" like how magic does it where it will prevent power creeping and not having to worry about old cards becoming broken later. The one good thing about Yugioh vs Magic is that yugioh staple cards get reprinted so many times it becomes pretty cheap to get vs Magic where some important cards stay expensive af.
