So long as the price is identical (or even less) to buy a physical copy that needed to be manufactured, packaged, shipped, warehoused, wholesaled, and retailed, than it costs to just download it, I'll go ahead and keep my First-sale Doctrine rights, thanks.

Or, $60 for a game I'm stuck with, outside of game-sharing shenanigans or the fine print in Steam's refund policy. The only time digital is worthwhile for me, is binging on flashsales. ... It's cheaper for the developers. Have you noticed how pricey some of those deluxe physical editions get? I imagine it's a fraction of the actual cost it takes to make those materials.
