If you see a poll where biden is winning something like 70 - 30... That is an extremely biased source and not worth paying attention to or trusting... Trumps strategy was and always has been clearly to rally and energize his base to increase their turnout (and maybe a little dash of voter intimidation to keep the other side from turning out as much). Bidens was to reach out to moderates and independents and show that hes the more competent, steady, stable candidate, and try to ease concerns from Republican voters that hes the radical left wing boogie man that Trump tries to paint him out to be.
