If you're playing it for the first time you should definitely play the original imo. I mean it's the full story. You won't even see Yuffie if you play the remake!

Hey VI, that reminded me, I was watching an FFT speedrun when I first learned about the JP scroll glitch in the non-WoL version. Still have my old discs so I see a new FFT playthrough happening in my future, lol.

..... though I am committed to replaying* the game of whatever character wins the contest so a Delita win would help accelerate the replay...

* everyone left is from a game I already played except Emet and Edea so I dunno, watch youtube cutscenes in a worst-case-scenario for them.

5 and 6 are not on mobile or steam that's just a fantasy shhhhh

I really want to play all the FFs I've missed at some point soonish but there are so many versions and some of them are annoying to get on consoles I have. Maybe I'll commit to playing the winner's game if I haven't already played it! Unless it's Emet... I wish they'd just put 1-6 and Tactics on Switch or something (and Crystal Bearers!).

It's also weird they never ported the 13 series over for this gen.

I've heard this mentioned a few times now, what is the context of this? If it's as straightforward as it sounds surely the user in question would be straight up banned from the site not just the contest! I know these things have gotten serious in the past but death threats just sounds like a whole other level.

If it's better for everyone not to bring up old wounds then by all means ignore this post!
