30 y/o Heifer, Shaerin Kelley from Washington State hired two 17 YEAR OLDS to MURDER her husband for 13,000 bucks as one of the boys SHOT him NINE TIMES..and the man SURVIVED!!

She hired 2 unnamed teens after meeting them at a trailer park to murder her ex husband, 48 y/o Baron Li as she promised to pay one of them 13,000 to do it

On July 10, at 830am, Li was walking to his car getting ready to go to work when one of the teens shot him 9 times in the legs, arms and chest which happened at Overlook at Lakemont apartments in Bellevue

Li fell to the ground as the suspect stood over him and shot him AGAIN.

Police Major Travess Forbush said "Something like this is rare" as court document said the shooter asked his friend to drive him from Mount Vernon to Washington and said he was going to cap someone and empty the clip

Li survived and told police that his ex wife is the only person who might want to kill him as they were in a custody battle that had a financial motive for her to have sole custody as well

Kelley brought a GPS tracking device found under Li's car which they were able to connect it to her murder for hire plot as it also lead back to the teens through technology, social media and search warrants

One of the surveillance videos captured the pickup truck that was believed to be the getaway driver and was registered to one of the boys

The boys also made a roundtrip from Mount Vernon to Bellevue as one of them admitted to his role of the shooting as it's unclear if it was the driver or shooter who did

Kelley's bail is set at 2 million as formal charges will be announced next week

Li said while recovering that he's just worried for the rest of his family as that could have been his kids walking out with him. He's married with 2 sons and a daughter as the youngest is 6.

A Gofundme was set up for his injuries where his arm is shattered from the bullets which he used to shield himself

Go high enough and id eventually draw a line but a 10 year difference isnt too big to me. Going even 10 younger would mean going to prison for me but in the above case/scenario of being 48 with a 30 y/o wife i dont see an issue with that.

Shame that their incompetence couldn't get them arrested before putting him in the hospital, but it's still good that he lived and there's a pretty strong case against his would-be killers.

Why the fuck does she even get bail as an option?

If even premeditated murderers can buy their way out of prison until the trial, what the fuck is even the point of locking anybody up pre-trial for the safety of the community?
Followup question, since they're still technically married and the divorce isn't finalized...
Can this bitch use the husband's money (she ain't getting shit in the settlement after the attempted murder) to pay towards her bail bond? Cause that'd be super fucked up.

Also, hopefully the teens get tried as adults. If they own guns and casually take on requests to go and "cap someone and empty the clip", they ain't innocent children and need to be thrown in jail for a long, LONG time.

I wonder if any amount of counseling can salvage this relationship

The real idiocy was a a female in a custody divorce battle is pretty much a lock and that would have been an never ending paycheck. Its probably biased enough that even still the courts might still set her up with alimony.
