So to get a figure for those above 50, I would add about 7% to the 17% and thus about 24% people are above the age of 50, and 24% of 7 billion is... 1.68 billion." 1.68 billion people all dropping dead at once. People driving, pilots flying, it would be a catastrophic event that we couldn't even handle. They are having trouble with the bodies of the dead from coronavirus, and that's in the tens of thousands in most countries.
