I'm watching some streams and it looks decent so I'm thinking about it. I know it was a P2W game turned into a normal game and didn't fair so well when it first came out in early access or whatever, but it doesn't look bad. I might wait for a sale though.

I'll wait to hear some more on. I won't put too much stock into the negative reception of the early access, because that's what I think early access is for: finding out what doesn't work in the game and turning it into something good. At least thats what it should ideally be for.

Whether or not they made the game good, I'll wait and see, but I hope they did because I loved Torchlight II.

Probably wait for a sale. I like the idea of having a homestead and that train engineer class looks fun but idk if it will have the same feel

I'm waiting for a sale, but I'm definitely getting it eventually. My kiddo loves playing Torchlight coop, and when she sees the llama pet she's gonna flip lol

no, everything i read about that game is bad. read the reviews. it looks like they took everything people liked about Torchlight1/2/Diablo and went "ok but what if instead of all that, we make a shitty mobile game? and then sell it for 30 dollars?"

just digout your copy of D2, optionally hunt out some modernization mods, or play PoE (best endgame) or D3 (best gameplay).

you know they pay streamers to play their games, right? at least at first they do. sometimes gamers pick it up, like with Apex Legends, but i imagine once the terms of their promotion run out its back to Among Us

Nope. TL2 sucked a big one. TL1 was good, but 2 was terrible. Meh sound design, the character classes all felt like you were playing a Mage, the story was crap, and the itemization SUCKED.

It was originally designed to be P2W, or gotcha at the very least, but they redesigned it to be a normal ARPG and looks as such from the streams I've seen today.
