I don't think it's a good idea to plug a router into another router. Switches can be plugged into routers just fine but I don't know what kind of behavior you'll get if you plug in two routers to each other. My suggestion, log into your current router and get the macs of all your devices then when you set up the new router set up an unencrypted network that uses Mac filtering and add devices to it.
