Later in the stream, he also confirmed the resolution and frame rate of the Xbox Series S. There are two modes supported for Yakuza: Like a Dragon. One is the high frame-rate mode that runs at 60 FPS while the other is the resolution mode. In the case of the Xbox Series S, the resolution mode will run at 1440p at 30 FPS while the high frame-rate mode which targets 60 FPS will run at 900p at 60 FPS.

What's the issue here? 1440p/30fps or 900p/60fps is better than the Xbox One X for Yakuza games. Probably will be for this as well.

900p should be absolutely unacceptable with new consoles.

The console is designed to play next gen games at standard HD resolutions. You know that.

And again it literally has a 1440p mode. Would you be whining if 900p/60fps wasn't an option?

900 and 1080 side by side, I couldn't tell you the difference sitting 12 feet away on a 55 inch TV. Keep the performance elitist snobbery for PC gaming.

I bet you are one of those youtube commenters in the 60 FPS vs 120 FPS videos saying how much of a difference you see when the max FPS video upload on youtube is 60 FPS and both frames in the video are virtually identical. "Wow, I don't know how people say they can't see the difference!"
