Degenerates, the lot of them.

I've only seen the first one. It's pretty cute, as you'd expect.

I've only seen the first one. The music was really really bad, but the movie overall was pretty good. I agree it was very cute.

I see a lot of thirst for her, yeah. Which I always thought was odd as she's a teenager, right?

Tho I had to google it and apparently she's 118 years old... Oh god, it's like when people justify their teenage waifus by saying "Errr, actually, they're 400 year old dragon spirit"
That would mean she's 18.
Which is legal everywhere.

The movies are better than they have any right to be, lol.

I've seen all three of them at our local drive-in. They're cute and surprisingly deep for an animated family movie.

Each of the movies tackles a certain family dynamic that can be very relatable. The first one is about "dating outside the culture" and a single father's desire to keep family traditions alive while doing what's best for his family. The second is an extension of the first movie's plot, but with the added measure of including the husband's family learning to accept Drakula's culture, and Drakula's dad's racism towards humans (and not knowing that his grandkid is human). The third movie then tackles moving on with your life, as Drakula sees his daughter with her own family and desires love, but doesn't want to forget his wife who passed away, closing him off to other relationships.

Outside of the main plots, of course you will find the usual Sandler-esque hijinks with the supporting cast to round out the movie. It's pretty comedic throughout with the occasional emotional moments thrown in.

Also this is the first I've learned that people thirst for Mavis and that's just weird. She's like... a kid in the first movie. <_<

They are worth watching for the animation alone. I'm serious, all three are kind of technical masterpieces and will make you wonder why top billing productions like Frozen don't have characters that move like HT's.

People don't say that to justify their lust for anime teenagers.

People say that to justify their lust for anime children.

Plus a lot of the guys who lust for anime teenage girls are teenage boys themselves. So.....

This. I think Sandler shenanigans just seem much more likeable if in a cartoon environment.

[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

Its real weird, although If anyone hasn't seen the movie, she's 118 as a joke. Like she's finally an adult, but because vampires are immortal its 118 instead of 18. Doesn't make the people thirsting over her less gross, but the movie makes it very clear she is, in fact, like 5 seconds removed from being a literal child.

Many teenage girls can pass as young adults easily and vice versa so this is kind of subjective.

I've seen all 3 multiple times.

So long as you're not expecting anything more than what they bill themselves as (Adam Sandler movie) then you should have an enjoyable time.

They're all on Hulu atm
