When I'm single, I enjoy my autonomy and do whatever I want. I'm happy, but lonely. Never have anyone to share my experiences with. Longing for commitment or someone I can see myself spending forever with.

When I'm in a committed relationship, I feel like I'm missing out on my youth by tying myself down, yet I value having someone to share life with and who loves and cares for me. I love all the bells and whistles of committed relationships.

Maybe I should be polygamous.

Engaged...
lmao you better figure it out soon

like i said, im engaged too and i love my fiancee and can't wait to call her my wife. might do the zoom weddings and do the ceremony later on.

but i can remember 5 years ago when we first started dating, i was like eh i dunno where this is going. i didn't want to leave her, but i felt a lot of things you felt.

maybe it just takes time? maybe the right partner? im not sure.

just dont lie and end up married and hating it and cheating cuz thats no good

I think I'm mostly feeling a struggle between my autonomy. I love her to death. There are just some things I need to figure out.

I'm around your age and know the feeling. If you really love them,,and not just playing house, then do it. The whole grass is greener on the other side, fear of missing out, that's mental shit only. Then again, if something is warning you not to, listen to your instincts.

Socially? Sexually? Time management? A lot of this is probably all in your head and based on unspoken assumptions.

Like if you wanna go out with your buddies and get shitfaced and crash on a friend's couch and then stumble home the next morning, odds are yo' girl will be cool with it (pending the frequency and forewarning).
