Most recent thing - Now Scully (7 year old female) has started having sneezing fits throughout the day, started yesterday. Earliest I could get her into the vet is Monday evening :(

Still combatting the ringworm - it has been clearing up on Desi, and Scully's nose and cheek started to clear up, but the patch on her shoulder still needs some time and then she got a new patch on her ear.

And then before that... Well, we first saw Desi in PetSmart in July and she wasn't looking too hot so we reported that to the staff and kept in touch with the shelter. After a couple weeks they said we could adopt her. She was fine for a week...
  • Then developed an upper respiratory infection. We were treating that by the end of the week, at the beginning of the following week she was getting better but then...
  • she started breathing really erratically so we took her to the emergency care center where she stayed for three days until she recovered (also discovered here that she had had three fractured ribs).
  • then she developed signs of ringworm.
  • then she got a weird bump on her front paw near the shoulder... turned out to be an inflammatory reaction to the vaccine and has cleared up on its own.
  • Then she started having convulsions (possibly seizures), had four in the span of a week but it stopped shortly after getting her on phenabarbitol.
Overall this kitten has cost us $4,000 lol. This whole summer has been spent at one vet, then my wife stopped liking that vet so we switched to a new clinic.
