one of the few fields that actively rewards laziness and gives you incredible flexibility. If I want to call out its not a request, Im telling them and no one blocks it. If I want to take off early I just say Yeah Im out. See ya. I can automate my work and fuck off if I want. I prob need 5-10 hours of cleverness a week, tops.

Some work is permanently automated. Its great. You can drink at your desk if youre in the office. Now that we are at home we can get obliterated(I dont do it but I know some people do). I get paid to watch anime and I had the 4th highest ticket closure count on a team of 10, surpassing people who started earlier than me. I can excel without trying. Great field. No degree needed, get certs if you want, but you dont have to if you dont want.

Cant beat it right now.
