Just wanted to know is it worth it to upgrade my Iphone 8 Plus to Iphone 12? Is the difference between these phones huge?

i have the SE which is the upgrade to the 8 and about 1/3 the cost of the 12

There's a big bump in specs, but apps for iOS are optimized well enough to run smooth like butter on currently-supported devices.

Im on a 7 plus that still works great but Im upgrading to the 12 pro. Ive noticed my phone has been getting slow and overheating randomly so figure its time. Waiting to get it
