The best one i read is crime and punishment

Otherwise i read a bunch of classic literatures and they're overrated especially american ones.

Dracula and Frankenstein are both pretty good.

I remember the Count of Monte Cristo being excellent, but I think the writing style is a little more dense.

All of Lovecraft's work is public domain, so you can find it online for free. Just be warned that there's some pretty racist undertones to a lot of it.

Candide is spectacular. It's an evisceration of "everything is all for the best" optimism and the Just World fallacy.

If you're daunted by the buy-in time of reading, there are a lot of classic audiobooks on YouTube.
