Just put your clothes in, set the kind of wash cycle you want to do, set it to dry from a few different settings, and then start it. It washes, then dries, and chimes when it's done.

Only problem is mine randomly stops working. I've got an appointment for someone to come out next week to fix it.

Oh I thought you meant where it was a stackable combined into one, yeah that would be cool to have a all-in-one so I could set it and forget it

It is, but it saves me a lot of time. I can start my clothes at night and not have to worry about waking up to move them to a dryer. I think it's worth the cost in that regard.

Yeah. It also dries electronically by heating up the air in the drum, so you don't even need the dryer hookup. You just connect the two water valves, plug it into power, and it works.

I paid $1300 for the unit, then another $195 for a 5-year protection plan.

That's be awesome. Speaking of that, my dishes are still a bit damp after using the dishwasher... I need to ask my apartment complex about that.

That's what I'm thinking. When this thing needs to be serviced you're gonna pay out the nose for labor. (Or, if you're a DIYer, you'll have fun digging through all the extra guts and circuitry)

This is why I got the 5-year warranty. The repairs I need will cost me nothing.

Which is smart, but it's the post-warranty period that's gonna hurt unless you plan on upgrading by then or just replacing it when it breaks.

$1,500 for at minimum 5 years of this sounds worth it 100%. Im probably going to look into this.

every time i've ever picked up an extended warranty, shit breaks maybe 3 months after it expires. they design those not to cover normal wear and tear issues.
