If adults can go to fast food, resturants, work, and kids can go to school then yes kids can go trick r treating too. The one holiday that it's actually the most safe to avoid covid considering every child is wearing a mask already.

Our county cancelled the morning of and I saw large groups saying they were still doing it and looking at social media tons of people went. We weren't planning on going anyway and just had a movie night with the kids. My area just closed 2 hospitals recently and has 1 that is currently full and COVID cases are just really starting to rise it could be disastrous if people don't take it seriously.

Its a lot safer trick or treating with your specific group spaced apart from people than gathering with 1,000 total strangers walking the streets to riot/block roads/cause as much disturbance as possible.

COVID has like a 98% survival rate
If people like us (non-celebrities and non-politicians), we would owe the hospital tens of thousands of dollars that your insurance would probably not help with. Read about some of the hospital bills that people are getting over this.

This issue alone should be the deciding factor in making all medical services free. The hospitals cannot be trusted to not give people unfair bills, so we need to stop medical payments and let the government pay for it. We dump trillions into black site projects every year that they wont tell us about, so we can just stop a few of those and weve got our medical care taken care of, paid for by the government instead of forcing other citizens to pay for it.

I had one small group of kids show up. No parents, but the oldest kid (who looked like she was somewhere in the 10-12 range) was clearly the one in charge of the group. Trick or treating isn't safe, but I do feel bad for these kids.

Yeah, but that's difficult for literal young children (not teenagers, but <10) to grasp or even conceptualize.

Technically, you're susceptible to covid while wearing a mask if other people aren't wearing a mask too. It goes from most protected to least protected like this:

1) Two people both wearing masks and practicing social distancing
2) Two people both wearing masks
3) Two people, but only one is wearing a mask
4) Two people and neither are wearing a mask.

In 3) the mask wearer does have slightly better protection against covid compared to the non-wearer, but the non-wearer is significantly more likely to infect others.

Whats it have anything to do about protesting? Were talking about trick or treating and you probably shouldn't protest during a worldwide pandemic where you are lined shoulder to should and people screaming at the top of their lungs
