y'all havin a good time out there?

i finally played god of war 2018 and it was just as fucking awesome as i always thought it might be which is pretty rare. i started playing through the older games but it was super janky on ps now so i pulled my ps3 back out with my disc copies (have them all except ascension). i'm back up to pandora's temple in gow1

i also got rdr 2 but i'm not sure i'm really in the mood for it and i can't decide if i should play rdr1 first while i got the ol' ps3 out

lastly i'm a pretty big doom fan but i haven't played the dlc for eternal yet. it looks pretty nightmarish and i sucked too much butt at the base game so i'll need to play through that a few more times before taking a crack at it

Honestly, gaming alone is a dying thing for me. I feel like I'm completely relying on the VR gimmick right now to squeeze entertainment out of gaming alone. The new perspective put a lil gas in the tank.

Greedfall actually has a pretty interesting story with good writing. I didn't finish it and don't remember any of specifics. But that's just cause my brains broken. I just remember it being engaging for the time.

I got in a copy of Avengers from Gamefly and honestly im really enjoying the campaign lol. I dont plan on doing any endgame stuff, but the story is fairly good so far and Kamala Khan isn't annoying me as much as I thought she would. Combat is fairly boring but plot wise im entertained.

I bought some Metroidvanias I'd been wanting for a bit in the Steam Halloween sale (Bloodstained, Ori and Monster Boy), so I'm working through them.

I have Persona 2: Eternal Punishment on the go (I'd beaten Innocent Sin and figured I should play the follow-up too), but I'm not really feeling it. I definitely prefer 3-5.

Yeah, pretty much everything about it is just off. The combat has some issues but is pretty engaging once you get used to it. The story is pretty fun and the setting is really interesting. It's still firmly Eurojank but it gets an A for effort. Really excited to see if SteelRising finally gets them to a good level of polish.

I just started Amnesia. It lives up to the hype so far. Love the physics stuff and the atmosphere is grade A.

Just finished Sekiro. Just started Pillars of Eternity 2.

I've been mainlining Chibi-Robo: Clean Sweep (unofficial name I guess) and playing some League of Legends on the side

I use to like the jank of Risen 3 and Arcadia lol. So though Im not as big on it anymore, I can easily put up with something like Greedfall.

Ghost of Tsushima.

I'm still on the first act, but the gameplay hasn't really been grabbing me, so it has been going pretty slowly.

it's a beautiful game and I like Jin and the story, though, so I don't wanna give up on it.

I will say, I dont know what happened between Pillars of Eternity 1 and 2, but 2 plays like shit compared to 1.

I dont mean the gameplay sucks. Its still fun, even if they did add on a couple features the series didn't need.

I mean technically. I'm have a lot of framerate issues and stuttering and unresponsive controls that I just didn't have in PoE1. The game just feels poorly optimized and kinda buggy.

Nioh 1. Currently on the DotN DLC. Really fun game, one of my favorites for sure.

Borderlands the Presequel recently. I played BL2 before that, which are the only two games Ive played since their release date for the Switch.

I have just recently started back up YuGiOh Forbidden Memories. I beat Weavil Underwood 100 times and he did not drop me his rarest card Jirai Gummo. I'm pissed. Thank god for turbo mode.

Finally picked up trails of cold steel. The first one.

It's got its flaws showing its age, but the writing so far is amazing and I'm really liking the characters. Even the ones I thought I'd need to see their backstory have grown on me because of their interactions. And they feel like real enough people as long as you ignore the obvious gameplay mechanic parts that have them saying stuff like "is that a treasure chest" for the fifth time.
